AZ-140 Exam is a beta exam for Microsoft Azure specialty in windows virtual desktop. Microsoft newly launched this certification, and it is getting more popular in the Certification field of IT. AZ-140 is a specialty based certification, so you should be a subject matter expert in windows virtual desktop in the areas of planning, managing, and delivering those Windows virtual desktop experiences on any device. You have to be familiar with Azure technologies. If you do not have the Azure basics, you must do AZ-900, azure fundamentals, and AZ-104, Azure administrator. After doing these two necessary certifications, you will be able to do AZ-140.

AZ-140 Exam Things One Should Be Familiar With :

About Beta exam

A beta exam is usually offered at a reduced rate by  the Microsoft to a limited number of people, approximately the first 400 candidates. For getting the reduced rate, you have to enter the beta code at the time of payment during registration.

The AZ-140 exam will be available from March 2021. This exam costs 165$, but if you are the first lucky 400 candidates, you will get some percentage OFF. To get yourself enrolled at a reduced rate, register at Microsoft. 

Break Down Of AZ-140 Exam

It is the breakdown of the AZ-140 exam and the percentage of questions within each section or topic.

  • Planning a WVD Architecture (10-15%) 

           It covers the topics like designing the user profiles and WVD architecture.

  • Implementing a WVD infrastructure ( 25-30%)

           This section includes the implementation and management of networking, storage, and host/session pools of WVD.

  • Managing access and Security (10-15%)

           It cover-ups the topic of management of access and Security.

  • Management of user apps and environment (10-15%)

           This section covers both the Implementation/managing FsLogix and configuring user experience.

  • Maintaining and monitoring the WVD infrastructure (20-25%)

          This section of the AZ-140 exam includes the planning and implementation of continuity and disaster recovery and the performance and health of the WVD infrastructure.
